As we close out the winter months and prepare for a new golf season, the Pro Shop has been buzzing with excitement. While the course rested beneath cold winter skies, the clubhouse remained vibrant and full of life. Here’s a look at what’s been happening inside.
Sim-ply the Best
This winter marked a major step forward for our indoor golf amenities. We completed a full simulator upgrade, including new turf, a new projector, a new screen, and a new simulator unit. The results speak for themselves.
In fact, the simulator has been booked most days, with usage levels we have never seen before. Members have embraced the improvements and have taken full advantage of the opportunity to sharpen their swings all winter. It’s been great to see so many golfers working on their game, competing with friends, and enjoying their time together here at the club.

Pro Shop Team Updates
Winter also brought changes to our Pro Shop staff. For those who haven’t heard, Mike Barry has decided to pursue opportunities outside the golf industry. We thank Mike for his contributions over the years and wish him the best in his next chapter.
Brent Sauer has been promoted to Lead Assistant. He has already made a strong impact, particularly with simulator scheduling and the continued growth of our caddie program. His leadership and organization kept a busy winter running smoothly.
We are also pleased to welcome Brayton (Bray) Weisensel, who will join us in mid to late March. Bray comes from The Oaks Golf Course in the Madison area and brings five years of industry experience, along with a great personality that will be a strong addition to our golf professional team.
As we move toward spring, we look forward to building on the momentum from a busy winter, and seeing everyone back out on the course soon.
