As summer gets underway, we’re grateful for the enthusiasm and support of our members. From sold-out brunches and specialty dining events to social gatherings and clubhouse improvements, the past few months have given us plenty to celebrate and even more to look forward to.
A Season Full of Highlights

Our spring season was one of our busiest yet. Easter Brunch sold out faster than ever, welcoming more than 450 members, family members, and guests. We also hosted a successful Mother’s Day Brunch, our annual Luminary Walk, Winter Whiskey Wonderland, and a Valentine’s Wine Dinner, along with several Trivia Nights, Bingo Nights, and Paint & Sip events.
Another recent highlight was our whiskey event featuring Greg Keeley, owner of Larrikin Bourbon. Members enjoyed an evening of exceptional whiskey, great food, and plenty of entertainment. Across the board, our dining and social events continue to draw strong attendance from members and guests alike.
Summer Events on the Horizon
One of the highlights of the season is right around the corner. Our annual Patio Party remains a member favorite, bringing together great food, live music, and everything that makes summer at the club special.
Beyond the Patio Party, members can look forward to a full calendar of golf events, dining experiences, and social gatherings throughout the summer.
Recognizing Outstanding Team Members
We continue to receive a great deal of positive feedback about our staff, and we’re fortunate to have such dedicated employees serving our members.
Assistant Golf Professional Brent Sauer has continued to elevate our golf simulator program, which experienced record participation this winter. Morgan Krause has done an outstanding job preparing and staffing the Turn for the season. Chef Simon and his culinary team continue to earn praise for both daily dining and special events.
We’re also grateful for the work of April Voegeli and Brenna, whose efforts behind the scenes help bring our busy events calendar to life and create memorable experiences for members and guests.
Investing in the Club Experience
Our annual winter shutdown gave us the opportunity to complete a series of clubhouse improvements, including a new kitchen line, storage reorganization, refreshed windowsills, deep-cleaned carpets, paint touch-ups, and reupholstered dining room chairs.
More recently, the Turn received a refreshed look with new paint, updated furnishings, and equipment upgrades. We also transitioned to Spectrum television service throughout the clubhouse, added a new television to the lower deck lounge area, and introduced patio games for members and guests.
Another project nearing completion is the reframing and reinstallation of our Past Presidents photographs, helping preserve an important piece of our club’s history.

Discovering More Ways to Enjoy the Club
Many of our members know us for golf and dining, but there are additional opportunities worth exploring.
Our Diamond Wine Society continues to provide members with wine storage, purchasing benefits, and exclusive opportunities throughout the year. Our Whiskey Club offers access to unique tasting events, educational experiences, and opportunities to purchase allocated bottles.
We’re also seeing more members use the clubhouse as a gathering place beyond golf. Whether it’s dinner with friends, a Patio Party, a trivia night, a wine tasting, or a private celebration, our clubhouse continues to evolve into a year-round destination for our membership.
Looking Ahead
As we move through the summer season, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead. From social events and dining experiences to golf and future course improvements, there are countless ways for members to get plugged in, stay connected, and help shape the future of West Bend Country Club.
